Level 3 Grows Core North America Network Services 11 Percent

Level 3 Communications revenue from the North America core network services enterprise segment grew from $586 million in Q4 of 2012 to $651 million in Q4 of 2013.

"After tracking LVLT on and off for nearly 2 decades, we are starting to believe that it has finally turned the corner and begun to fulfill its potential as a core internet infrastructure investment," said Kevin Smithen, analyst at Macquarie.

Macquarie Analyst Kevin Smithen increased his price target on Level 3 Communications to $44, failed to upgrade their neutral rating.

"We believe Level 3 Communication's 7.1x ’15E EV/EBITDA multiple looks reasonable for its strongly double-digit EBITDA growth over the next couple of years." continued Smithen.

Smithen recently met in Colorodo with Level 3 Communications CEO Jeff Storey and other senior management.
