Surveys from over 17,000 IT professionals in 22 vertical markets and 7 regions across the globe found that more than 80 percent of businesses with 20,000 or more employees indicated that SIP trunking was very important to their business.
SIP trunking helps companies become more efficient with communications costs by combining voice and data connectivity over a single line. SIP Trunking also requires businesses to purchase only the amount of trunks necessary for a maximum number of concurrent calls.
SIP trunks are much less expensive than analog lines and internet connectivity is less expensive than ISDN lines. SIP trunks also include lower toll cost calling, free calling between offices and extensions and lower line rental costs for multi-site locations.
